Why this matters
Old FAQ answers can become accidental promises
A stale FAQ can quietly claim a service, price, turnaround time, response window, product capability, refund rule, or service area that is no longer true. In classic search that is confusing; in AI search it can be worse because answer engines may summarize the old language without showing the whole context.
The fix is not to rewrite every answer every week. The fix is a small calendar, a stale-answer log, and a rule that AI only drafts from approved facts.

Refresh answers from approved notes only
You are helping a small business refresh website FAQ answers for buyer clarity and AI search accuracy.
Use only the approved notes below. Do not invent pricing, availability, service areas, response times, legal rights, refund promises, warranties, guarantees, credentials, insurance, team names, or customer results.
For each FAQ, return:
1. keep/edit/remove recommendation,
2. revised answer in plain language,
3. source fact used,
4. missing fact or owner-review flag,
5. internal link suggestion,
6. schema/FAQ markup caution if visible text and markup may drift.
Approved notes:
[paste source-of-truth notes and stale-answer log]
Implementation
Run a 30-minute FAQ refresh sprint
- Export or copy the current FAQ questions into the calendar.
- Mark any answer tied to pricing, policy, scheduling, locations, credentials, warranties, or support as high-risk.
- Collect source-of-truth notes before asking AI to draft anything.
- Refresh the highest-risk five answers first; remove unsupported promises instead of polishing them.
- Set the next review date and keep the stale-answer log for the next pass.
Human-review rule: if an FAQ answer could change what a buyer expects, a responsible owner or manager reviews it before publishing.
